By using Baalot, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Who Can Use Baalot
Baalot is available to eligible voters of participating institutions, organisations, and communities. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your account with others. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Election Integrity
Each verified voter may cast only one vote per election. Any attempt to:
• Vote multiple times in the same election
• Impersonate another voter or create fake accounts
• Manipulate, tamper with, or interfere with election results
• Access or attempt to access another voter's ballot
…is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent account suspension and referral to the organising body.
ID Verification
You may be required to scan an ID card to join an institution, organisation, or community on Baalot. You must only submit your own valid, current ID. Submitting a false, altered, or another person's ID is a violation of these terms and may constitute fraud under Nigerian law.

You agree not to:
• Use Baalot for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform
• Post or share offensive, abusive, defamatory, or misleading content

Candidate Content
Candidate profiles, manifestos, and campaign materials submitted through Baalot remain the sole responsibility of the submitting user. Baalot does not endorse any candidate or campaign. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms, is misleading, or is otherwise harmful.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Baalot at all times. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily interrupt the service. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions during or outside of active elections.

Baalot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Baalot and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for conduct that we determine to be harmful to the platform or other users. You may delete your own account at any time from the app settings.
